The Ajmer Sharif Dargah is one of India's most significant Sufi shrines, dedicated to the 13th-century saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. It is known for its atmosphere of devotion, attracting pilgrims of all faiths. The shrine complex features marble courtyards, large cooking cauldrons (degs) used for preparing blessed food (tabarruk), and the main tomb under a silver dome. It is especially busy during the annual Urs festival, which commemorates the saint's death anniversary.
